How to take more steps everyday
Strategy no.1
Set 2 different goals: one for the morning and one for the evening. Try to keep the pace with them and organise your daily schedule in order to respect the medium amount of steps. You can either:
- Go to the office by walk
- Take a walk during the lunch break or at the end of the day
Strategy no. 2
If you don’t have much time during the day, set a moment during the day for yourself and dedicate it to your goal. In this case, the optimum option would be to go for a run or for a High intensity Walking. If you are close to a park, it would be a great idea to walk in the park, deciding how many rounds to take.
Other tips to improve your steps
Here some other ideas to take more steps during your day:
- Walk during your phone calls
- Join a walking group or organise it with some friends and take a recurrent appointment
- Listen to a podcast and keep walking until the end of the episode
- Use a tapis roulant at home or at the office and walk anytime you can
